The priorities for L&D professionals over the next 12 months (highest to lowest):Īnalytics and Dashboards, Skills Management, Learning Experience Platforms (LXP), Learning Management Systems (LMS), Content Authoring Solutions, Social or Collaboration Tools, Learning Record Stores (LRS), Virtual Classrooms, and Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs). Sixty-nine percent of employees who stated that their manager would not support their growth within the company plan to quit their job in the next six months, whereas only 32% of those who said their manager is supportive of their growth plan to quit their job in the next six months.ĥ. While much of the conversation focused on introducing chatbot-like technologies and digitizing processes to help the organization become a skills-based-organization, when asked about the use of technology to support the learning experience, learning portals were the most advanced usage of technology reported by most of the L&Ds and compliance was reported as the most effective learning strategy. Corporate learning technologies are here to stay.Ĭontrary to some bleak predictions in the midst of the recession, more L&D professionals expected their organization's L&D-related budget to increase in 2023 than those who expected a decrease.ħ9% of L&D respondents said their organization had significant skill gaps and 75% rated building skills as a high priority.ģ.
