Unpack and ready to sleep on- no odors and no waiting for it to expand Because of that, I seem to be having more uninterrupted nights, which is fantastic. The bed does not shift nearly as much as our old mattress when my wife is tossing and turning or gets up in the middle of the night. While this Simmons mattress is not a memory foam mattress, it does seem to isolate movements pretty well. I thought our previous mattress + a memory foam topper was more comfortable, but I didn't realize how often my wife woke me up as she shifted at night. More points below, but I will note that I have slept better on this mattress than our previous mattress. It does have the pillow top feature that is a few inches thick, but those first few inches don't offer a ton of support, so you end up settling on the layer below that- which is a bit firmer than the fluffy top. Overall, it's a well made, comfortable mattress that seems to be a little softer than a medium firmness. My wife would give this a 5/5 rating, but i think it's a 4/5 rating, so I'm sure your personal opinion will vary as well.
